31 Jan: Debut recording for Filippo Gorini

Filippo returns to Bonn this week to record his debut disc on Alpha Classics. He sets to work on his first day of recording in the Beethoven-Haus Bonn, where he first performed Diabelli Variations and claimed both the audience and jury prize at the Telekom Beethoven Competition in 2015. This years BBC Music Magazine Award nominees are now out, including 21 recordings from last year’s five-star discs across 7 different categories, chosen by a jury of critics.
