Keynote artists are appearing at an array of the world’s most prestigious festivals this summer. We bring Teodor Currentzis and musicAeterna to London for their much-anticipated debut at the BBC Proms in an all-Beethoven programme, while Moritz Gnann conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood.
In Glyndebourne, where rising talents Carrie-Ann Williams and Richard Walshe are in the chorus, Ben Glassberg takes the helm for a performance of Madam Butterfly with the London Philharmonic Orchestra before making his debut with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris at the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron.
